Domain knowledge for Bugsnag — error monitoring, projects, errors, events, releases

Bugsnag

Bugsnag is error monitoring: errors, events, releases, saved searches. Org → project hierarchy.

Data Model

  • Organizations are top-level. List to get organization_id. Projects belong to orgs; list by organization_id for project_id.
  • Org-scoped: Collaborators, teams, supported integrations.
  • Project-scoped: Errors, events, event fields, pivots, releases, trace fields. Saved searches need project_id; usage summary needs search_id.
  • Hierarchy: organization_id → project_id → search_id (for saved searches).
