Tyntec SMS

Tyntec provides SMS sending and receiving. SMS sends return a requestId for status; Messages are delivery reports. Phones and Registrations manage numbers.

Data Model

  • SMS — outbound SMS; have requestId for status.
  • Messages — delivery reports; linked to requestId.
  • Contacts — contact records.
  • Phones — phone numbers.
  • Registrations — number registrations.

Gotchas

  • requestId for status: After sending SMS, use requestId to check delivery status via messages.
